I saw that race replay. I'm a big Phipps and Gone Astray fan.

Maybe he'll win a few more big races in NY.

Parading ran a respectable 4th in the Pac Classic, although I don't know why McG sent Parading to race on fake turf in CA against fake track specialists. Maybe he believed :?: Parading's style suits fake track.
Baffert's horse, the winner Richard's Kid, was purchased specifically because he had shown an affinity for racing on fake track.

Parading is a multiple stake winner on fake track, made sense to go after a $1m purse.
