It looks like we're launching a new board with everything from the old one gone to cyberheaven, forever lost. Happily, my Eskimo porn collection was not part of the database that was dumped into the bit bucket.

It's going to take me some time to reconfigure everything from scratch. The first things I'm working on is to re-establish BL as an admin and get some forums going. I'm bright but I have to read a book and go techno-geek to get this done so bear with me. In the past I have depended on people smarter than me to get things done on the board but I no longer want that to happen. I've always been a sharp hardware guy but I need to come up to speed with the keyboard strokes on the admin panel. Now is the time to do this.

The Board will be re-established as we all knew it and maybe even better.

If you have any suggestions or bitches & moans, post them here and I will read and consider every one.

BL is once again riding herd as an administrator. I'll be OK tweaking this thing I think.

OK, the forums are set up and the mods are in place. Now I have to get some style and substance going with templates, icons, and some other stuff. Back to the books and ouija board.

New members who don't post are in jeopardy of being booted if we don't know you or can track you down to an American or Canadian IP address but that's not a major concern now.

Avatars and signatures are working. There is a 9K max on the avatars (100X100 pixels).

We're fairly well back in business with the better looking subsilver2 format.

And the smilies work.
