I go way back with the trots. And way back to Ebbets Field; the Polo Grounds; the old Yankee Stadium of Yogi, Mantle, & Casey; Roosevelt Raceway; and even back to Truman in the White House when he was finishing FDR's fourth term.

All you have to do is stay alive once you have made 'old fart' status.

Laughing several times a day helps.

And maybe having a great day at the Hambletonian one time. Perfect weather, a bunch of winners, and daytime to boot. All in a country fair atmosphere. I even got on the radio to be interviewed by Jody McDonald.

Paid over 25 bucks and we had it many times. Hors came 4 wide and blew by everyone in the lane. Was tremendous!!!
