If you've been to a board meeting, you most likely have participated in the group pick 6 wager. Once, we cashed on five of six and that sixth was a neck short. Opening day this year, we hit four of six, five of six was short by a half length.

I'm the one who usually puts the money together and constructs the ticket based on collective input. I plan on soliciting outside contributions as well and believe there could be a pot put together of close to $1000 to go for the big one.

I'm posting this now to guage interest. I will hold all money and place all bets and return any money won to all investors. In the event of an anticipated score that has IRS ticket potential, you must be willing to fill out a W2G form for yourself for your share of the winnings (another group I handicap with hit an IRS ticket earlier this year and we all had to submit our information for the IRS score proportianately to our share of winnings so that the group owner and bettor did not stay on the hook for the entire IRS hit. This will require disclosure of your personal information including social security number). I will take your input as best that can be done to be sure your money is best represented the way you would have wanted it to be played. I will price each share at either $25-30. You may buy as many shares as you want. I am rigged for paypal and if you get in early enough, you can mail me a check or money order if you prefer.

We've discussed attacking mega carryovers in the past, but since you have a day or two notice, it's been hard. Here's a $3 million pot to shoot for and plenty of time to plan.

If the ticket or tickets are winners and require to be reported to the IRS the form that would need to be filled out is IRS Form 5754.

I have been whacked with W2-Gs many times over the years.

The beauty of it all is that your money is taken by the government to go to slackers, breeders, and bums that have never worked and drop babies just waiting for your next score.
