While the idea of NYRA having a chat is great. The moderated chat is kind of lame. I'm sure Andy did fine but we can chat him up on this board.

We all started this chat on NYRA years ago . NYRA dropped the chat like a hot potato because folks were not always saying nice things about them . No surprise to me that they open up one sided , monitored , limited chat . They do not want to hear anything other than nice things . Not that anyone has anything bad to say about them ......

I don't even know what monitored chat means. I answered as many relevent questions as I could. You guys seem to be looking for something that very simply isn't there.

There were over 500 questions asked. I did the best I could. Sorry if that's not enough for everybody.

Andy , Unmonitored chat would allow folks to ask questions and get honest answers on Negative aspects of NYRA or a particular race/ trainer . As an employee you probably couldn't participate .

I'm not sure Publius knew that NYRA had an Open Unmonitored chat for close to 2 Years . Fans commenting on Bankruptcy , why NRA shouldn't get the Franchise or the Crooks in upper Management , Politics and on racing Boards , The PROMPTLY Shut it down

Couldn't handle the Negative

if WFAN shut down Live Discussion when a NY sports figue was on the Hook , they would be closed every night .

NYRA never could take the good from the Bad

Thats why no OPEN Chat anymore.

Too bad . there was a Time that NY Racing Ruled the Roost . Now its down to employees conducting personal atacks and insulting Fans.

As a Customer today , I bet over $2000 on the Belmont Card . Good to see how NYRA Treats Bettors by You an employee.
