They are usually Overbet by Sentimental NY Bettors who think they are at Par with most horses in Open Events which gives good value . I bet Boats in Boat Races who have shown ability to go out of State bred and be competitive . I have shared for Years my betting Strategies in Regards to BOATS

What I don't like is the ny Bred program that takes huge amounts of purse money and seperaters that from open competition . I think that just pushes good open claiming and allowance horses to other venues. If the Boats are competititive do like they do in other states . supplement each race with additional purse money if a boat wins . Seeing Horses run for $30.000 plus purses that can't break 113 at 6 furlongs is a joke . betting Boats and disliking the Slow bred program are two different matters

I'm in the doldrums. For opening day at Aqueduct I'm looking to get up the card on the 'capping forum. I'm about due for a day of debauchery in the downstairs saloon ever since a couple of lady friends have completed their terms of incarceration with the county for soliciting. 1/8 Pole is in town and is looking for some action as well.

In all fairness to NYRA, they have been rocked by bad weather for too many of their big days. The $350K guaranteed P4 on the weekends has been costing them mightily and it's just bad luck for them.
