That really is a shame...Heard he was sick but never thought he was in danger of leaving..Great trainer and a true NY'er..Marty will meet him at the gate..By now he has got the joint pretty much laid out.

Always loved Bobby...he would never be shy if he knew his horse was ready to roll, and he was almost always dead on. And he was a great trainer. This whole thing happened way to fast.

Bobby loved his horses and animals in general.

Admired him as a person and a trainer

Wasn't a fan and thought he came of as a smug individual most of the times but this is really shocking. Yes we were aware of his illness but from all reports it never seemed so dire. A sad day for his family foremost and for racing.
