Horse dumped Chavez (or he bailed), broke through the inner track's outer rail, then leapt over the main track's outer rail. He's an athlete, for sure. And a headcase.

Horse and rider are OK but the steering went south soon after the break when the bit came apart.

Contessa still has a monster..Bit broke and the colt went nuts..Next time Cheesey brings in a rider he can hang his hat on...This colt is really really good.

I'm Sorry , But Again this is just another Example of Why Cheesy needs to Stick with Boats and Claimers . No Doubt this is an extremely Talented Colt But Honestly 2 Turns on Winter Conditioned Track When Other Prospects are In So Florida , So California or Anywhere that Avoids Risky Conditions . Equipment Failure on Your Biggest and Best Prospect ? Most Trainers would Check ? recheck and Use New Equipment in Saddling the Colt . No way this happens . Finally Who would Used Washed Up Santos Today on a Top Contender ?
Gary is way out of his League with this Colt . Hopefully Someone Comes Around and Makes an Offer He Can't Turn Down
This is Like Getting Your Summer Olympic TrackStar ready for the Olympics using His High School Coach in His Buffalo NY Highschool Outdoor Track .
TearJerker Movie if He Makes It . Goes Against all practical sense .

How the heck did Santos become part of of this discussion The jockey's name is Chavez better known to his fellow riders as ChopChop. Yorker you lose credibility every time you open your mouth. Consider this another slip of my finger And this one's for your slip of the tongue

Consider this another slip of my finger And this one's for your slip of the tongue All the guy wants to do is argue about anything and everything, no matter if he's aware of what he's talking about or not. Obviously not in this case, as Jose Santos hasn't been in a saddle for over 3 years.

Yorker...Gary is many things but he is not stupid...He has a monster colt. He points to the classics and he needs GRADED stakes money..Why leave the easy money to head south and run on a course that is very unforgiving on a young colt? G STream is not the way for him to go. Bruce took his gun to Fla..Pletcher has his 5 there..Everyone fled NY and Gary was in the cat bird seat. This was the right move hands down.
