We have a private bedroom for Grits at my house that day. My wife of 37 years welcomes her and only requests that the dirty filthy drunken bastard men at the downstairs saloon leave Grits alone.

I think we could arrange that.

Tough job with a hot girl but I think we can do it if she shows up.

QP, I've been home, having not left this state for eight months . . . . and that's a record!! So, I'm trying to plan for Hot Springs for Rachel and Zenyatta's event, and for Marty's event, if things go well.

Yorker didn't extend me a personal invitation, but I figure Oaklawn and Hot Springs are, both, pretty good size places. LOLOL

Grits

Hot Springs is about 200 Miles From Me But Rachel and Zen may be Too Tough To Pass

Arlington Hotel for a Little Old Fashion Charm .

You Will Love Oaklawn , Most Do But Make Reservations Soon .

Yorker, all done and in place. A couple of other folks and myself have rented a condo just two miles from Oaklawn's front entrance for Thursday through Sunday. Seats at the track are reserved, and air reservation made as well. I've never beeen to Hot Springs, and from the online info it looks like a lovely track and city. Too, I'm told the oysters and the shrimp at the track are outstanding!! LOL

I'm excited and really looking forward to it. I just hope the weather is a bit warmer by April 8th. I'm tired of low forty degree days, and twenty degree nights.

I understand the Arlington IS beautiful.

Now, I only need for everyone here at home to stay well, and I'll be ok.

Yorker, its extremely rare that I meet anyone I don't enjoy. At the track its all about the horses and the people--both have made for great experiences, and lasting friendships. Often, time passes much too quickly, and there I am . . . . having to say good-bye. And I don't ever like that part.
