This dope wouldn't have made sergeant in any outfit I served with. In my time I'm thinking a grunt private would have shot him just for the lousy pony selections. If he was a Marine I apologize to every American alive.

His $36 and $48 P4 wagers at bad tracks are insane for fifty cents.

If you had the money to bet that much you'd work the card and not worry about collecting 1/4th of the P4.

He couldn't cut it as a T-Bred trainer either.

Nobody on the planet should make 50-cent wagers costing $36 or $48 in a Pick 4 race.

Unless you've got 5 grand in your pocket and you're drinking some really good stuff.

But if you had that kind of money you should be working the card to plow a single or a one-two with multis and still have a solid wager that doesn't cost as much and returns more.

Hey, maybe I'm stupid. One time I got hit by a bus that was going in reverse uphill with it's lights on.

It's easy to wager with play money. Sarge used to work for "the racing times" years ago.
