With snow and more monster cold in the forecast it will be interesting to see what happens with NYRA this week. I can't knock the cancellations - you can't water a frozen track and constant harrowing is not a solution for these temperatures. |

Constant freeze/thaw and simply freeze are playing havoc on Glen Kozak and his crew. As you were saying, Larry, you can't water or groom the track properly in these conditions. Even if there were still an inner track, the same song and dance would be playing out. Just pure bad luck with Mom Nature in 2018. |
