According to NYRA a new meet starts on Friday March 30th - the Spring Meet. Well if it's a new meet how can there be a P6 carryover? That'd be a violation of state law.
To old railrats like me and at one time officially there was a Fall/Winter meet that ended 12/31 and a Winter/Spring meet until Belmont opened. When the inner was running players understood there were really three "unofficial" meets from the fall - the main track meet, the inner track meet and the main track meet again in the spring. Track surface changes meant a whole new way of handicapping.
Hey, they're racing on Friday and I suppose that's what matters most.

Then NY changed their calendar this morning. I know what I saw sober and unaddled.
All of the public handicappers in the NY papers have themselves at zero for zero with today's card.

And the meet ended again Saturday with another P6 carryover in play for Friday.
