He's back in NY after a 4+ year hiatus. Injured in a pre-race paddock incident in February 2014 he didn't fully return to riding until late 2017, though I understand there were some personal family issues that were partially responsible for the delayed return. He just had a very successful winter at Oaklawn Park with 37 wins from 261 mounts. Always thought that he was a solid, hard-working rider.

And Robbie Davis is in the saddle for a parimutuel race for the first time in over 5 years in today's 4th.
