Who is Shug's assistant now?

Have not heard who he is or what his background and history in the game has been.

Thanks, thats great news. I've been a long time fan of Howard's since I met him at Saratoga back in the 70's when he was under the radar and scoring with nice prices when shipping in for Farish.

Its unfortunate his stable has gotten smaller over time, but glad to see him take this opportunity.

Article states he will be done in a couple weeks.....but at the opening of Keeneland he still has his own runners. Any final date known yet?
