I assumed Fox / NYRA had a contract for TV coverage, but never expected it to include limted coverage , especially on saturdays in October at the Belmont Fall Meet.
Today we get to watch races on Fox from 1230-330 and then we get the luxury of Fresno vs Wyoming...isnt that just fabulous?

Kinda live in the "sticks" and internet signals are intermittent and often weak with continued buffering.

Nice to watch on HD TV and not see the action at the finish line 30 seconds after race is official...lol

I'm not sure why NYRA would accept losing its signal 1/2 way through its card?

Its at least better than Iran vs Kazakhstan indoor soccer that was on a couple of weeks ago when racing was scheduled!

IDK guys. Feeling like Roman military general with a layered battery of soldiers ensuring total victory in the battle to watch NYRA.

1. NYRA NOW APP on ROKU is primary - prefer the true track feed with out any commentary for a stoic handicapping experience.
2. Back up is phone/tablet with NYRA NOW once again prefer the true track feed with no yapping.
3. Back up to the back up NYRA youtube on laptop - have to suffer through some intrusive commentary.
4. Back up to the back up to the back up is FOX sports2 on ROKU app

Can't imagine a horseplayer has no access to any of these ways to watch NYRA.

Well Samyn, lets put it this way:

When you live in a remote area, ( no traffic lights, no cops, one store, 500 people ) and houses set in a valley with mountains and trees surrounding you everywhere, along with dial-up ( in jest), some of your options are a complete impossibility.

Lucky to have DISH setup that actually gets the FOX signal.......the computer is constantly buffering during a race........other than that, all is well....and I might add, too old to relocate.

The cable OTB channel on Long Island is my place. I see Talking Horses and the live track feed minus the talking heads.

Fair enough. Man the drawbacks of Palookaville living.
