Prob a decision reached after meeting with the OAK VIEW arena folks. Oak View (a MSG subsidiary) charges $18 for a beer & $22 for a burger & $30 to park at ULTIMATE BS arena @ Belmont Park. They even have $120 T-Shirts!!!

These professional money separators surely met with the NYRA team and told them that they were crazy to allow their fans in with their beers. Why allow your fans to drink for pennies when you can rob your fans and separate $18 from them for each and every beer.

18 bucks a beer,crazy.their explanation doesnt make sense,even with the arena the backyard is empty meanwhile
saratoga is packed like sardines and coolers will be allowed.Your right its a money grab at belmont while they dont dare tamper with the tourism dollars at Saratoga.
