Garry Contessa – Thoroughbred Trainer – Says the OTBs are very poorly managed and are cash cows for their executives. If the tracks don’t want to run the OTBs the horsemen will. I once thought I had the Triple Crown at the downstairs saloon with three wayward women but I passed out from strong drink.
The girls were great. They only stole my money and the good booze. They left me uninjured with my watch, wallet and shoes, and left me a 12-pack in the fridge. They even left me with 3 cigarettes and placed a pillow under my head.
Girls like that bring tears to my eyes.
