The BC gets most of it's money from the breeders paying into it, not from any sort of grand business plan. Most of them are small to mid-ranged farms that they in their genius, decided to cut off by ending their support of some of the races leading up to the cup. After a huge negative response from those breeders, they did a complete 180 and decided to leave it as is. On the other hand, NYRA has it's own problems.
No idea how this thread on saddle clothes at the BC turned in a NYRA bash. Odd.
