With the degradation of racing these days I'm hesitant to toss the Slow Breds in open company anymore but I mostly did just that for this one.

CHAIRMAN TUCKER went well with similar last out off the shelf and is 4/3/0 lifetime at today's distance after 8 tries. The problem is that he hasn't had his picture taken since last September.

MASALA's figs are on the upswing and Ramon stays. Might be the horse to beat here.

Rudy Rod's WISE STOP drops and reunites with Cornholio. Second off the layup, likes Belmont, and cuts back to his best distance. Might belong somewhere in the gimmicks.

2 Frenchonionsoup has been working lights out. Stumbled start first off the bench and rushed to front. With Clean Break can take these.

4 Masala has been facing better. Dominguez stays and no world beathers here. Might be over bet but could be best. Must use in exotics.

Wise Stop (#1) draws the rail, and takes what might be considered a slight drop (2nd time vs open company), and has most of the early speed in here. If he can shake away from Chairman Tucker (#5) in the early rounds, there might not be enough pace to set the table for Masala (#4), who gets Dominguez again and figures to attract a lot of attention.

If the pace gets quick, still look out for Vose the Host (#6), who looks ready to fire 1st out since November for Barbara. Lezcano offers better value than Dominguez here.

Not sure what to make of Frenchonionsoup (#2), as those '09 top efforts would crush this field. However, the comeback attempts don't inspire, and Scott Schwartz always seems to elude me. I'll let him beat me again here.

Chairman Tucker can't go early with these, but his last race was good, he should get a favorable stalking trip off the speeds here and maybe have enough left late. One dropper has exited the race and won.

Artie's Chaper's last was very quick, faster early than the inside speed. Worth inclusion at a price.

Looks like Jeebs did OK and I get a DD and a P3 to start.

Crap number but was the second-choice 2/1.

I have a feeling deep down in the undershorts that Congressman Weiner sent me that today is going to be full of surprises.
