And in Ireland you can bet he was jumping stone fences and galloping cross country through the bogs carrying about 175 pounds. They train them differently over in the Ould Sod. I'm not touting the horse - I just can't understand how he got blasted in the DDs like he did. That was no tiny pool with some nut putting a few hundred down on him.

Prado??? It must be nostalgia speaking; he's been sporadic to awful recently.

As the old saying goes, "he's forgotten more about riding than I'll ever learn". Horse has already had a trip over the surface and to tell you the truth, you just don't know. Why not Prado and Prime Cut?

You're right about his knowledge. I do miss seeing those confident in-the-pocket turf rides that he was so masterful at. I wish him (and you if you bet the horse) best of luck.

As we go to the Belmont, know this, if the Favorite wins there will be a carryover in the pick 6 if that makes any sense. Only the 1,6 & 10 are covered. I'm rooting for the chalk like a motherf*cker!!!!!

I wanted to do more with this race but being a loser all day is just like being arrested - things you want to do get put on hold.

P3: 6-9-12/12/3-8-13

P3: 1-9/7/2-4-13

Zacta Zoomer Box: 4/8

Prior to hearing Barry's plan for Animal Kingdom for the rest of the year, i was picking him. Now that he's put this plan forward, I hope not to see him anywhere near that winner's circle. Still a fan of the horse but not the man. Tentatively his plans were the Arlington Million, another race over a polytrack surface and then the Breeders Cup Classic. Hoping that one of my other four choices of Santiva, Prime Cut, Shackleford & Nehro get it done.

That was an awesome race and just seeing Jose Valdivia's reaction makes it even better. F U Barry Irwin. Tremendous race run by Animal Kingdom considering the horrendous events at the start but so glad that Barry Irwin's not in the winner's circle.
