No Racing Today At Aqueduct

I'm a critic of NYRA but not today. John heard from a friend at Aqueduct that the track was fine but that packed snow and ice have many public and backstretch areas unsafe for man or beast. For one day today we're supposed to get the temperature up near 40 so things should be better for tomorrow, depending on how much snow lands tonight and tomorrow morning. Yeah, Old Man Winter is finally starting to piss me off but as long as the lights stay on I can deal with it.

That ice that got laid down earlier in the week is a horror to deal with.

Up here normal winter accumulation is 61". We already have 53". Snow predicted on and off through Tuesday next week.
