They've completely lost the racing surface and the freeze-thaw cycles over the past week are causing the cancellations. If they maintained the track properly they would not have the number of cancellations they've experienced the past 2 weeks. I was at Parx last Thursday and they were in the process of removing a ridiculous amount of track surface. It was easily 12-18" deep by 12-15 feet wide around the entire rail.
