I found this race toughest to cap on whole day

Came up with 2 Matterhorn with Castellano and Pletcher. 7/2 ML 2nd choice

4 Sassicaia has won on this track in the Mud before, Good chance

9 Leilani's Ticket 10-1 ML but seems as good as any in this wide open race.

Got the 6 and the 5 to have a shot as well.

I'm hoping the Jim Jerkens-trained JUBA is just too fast for these. Watching how the earlier races go is key.

Scope the Contessa Lump LEILANI'S TICKET. Never out of the $$$ in 6 starts on the main track and holding OK form. Gets Jose Ortiz today. Great gimmick horse at least.

CURIOUS CAL has been sharp lately but this is open company. Demand value.

The 7/9 Lumps land a DD for me while 5/9 will be racing to finish a P3.

The chalk chewers are having a great day while I continue to reach down and hold my own.

LEILANI'S TICKET had me prepping to dance on the lawn in a red hat and a thong while holding a can of beer but that one stopped like it was shot.

JUBA was too fast for these just like I thought earlier today.

The Chalk 3 brings in $69.50 for me while my second win wager of the day gets home as an overlay.

You'll spend a lot of days at Aqueduct before three faves get you a $69.50 P3 in fields that had but one leg catch as many as 9 starters.

Nice ride, 23 and change, will certainly move up after this. Had the 5th race double twice and the 5/2 exacta. Missed the tri by the 3rd horse. Some partners ran him in the 6th race double for $390. He had a good trip North and was on his game. Let's see how his time compares to the 2nd feature .

The times are weird all day but stakes horses that can't bust 1:50 for 9 furlongs have me bewildered.

Juba had the fastest 7 furlongs of the day. 1:23:58, vs. Dad's Cap 1:23:64 in the Carter. King's Bishop in August.
