BIRTHDAY GIRL has hit the board twice with much better open company and went fourth with Slow Bred specials last out. Drops ten tons and shortens today to race with Alpo bait, turning the P6 into a P5.

That's not to say one cannot diddle a dollar or two here but The Yorker Rule is in effect. Strange things do happen at racetracks.

DEVIL'S SILENT Won't have to be much to handle this group. Appears to be working well off short layoff

The 2/5/7/10 will NOT pay the P6 but I rarely play that wager so I do not care.

The 6/7 will be racing for my DD while only the #8 BIRTHDAY GIRL will be racing for my payday P3.

I mentioned up above who I liked and I'm happy to maybe catch a payday P3 with the #8 but I also mentioned diddling and I can afford to do that off the temporary monetary surplus.

I'll plink with Deo and the insane no-P6 Lump.

Ex: 7-9/3-6-7-8-9

Zacta Zoomer Save Job: 3/6-7-8-9

That 3X3X1 P3 ticket comes back $234.00 and I didn't hit it with a dollar. Sweet Lump kickoff with an insane overlay to finish.

Somewhere, someplace down in Arkansas the old nasty bastard U.S.N. vet Yorker is pushing his wheel barrow up to a window to collect his bags of money while mumbling, "Easy money. The boats never had a chance with this one."

I call them Slow Breds. Yorker calls them "boats".

I still have no idea how NY players let a statebred go with a number after it has shown ability with open company. This one showed an ability to race with good open company.

That winner rated 3/5 at the win window off the 3/1 chalk morning line.
