3 p.m. first post but more importantly the bride is on her way to Virginia to pick up our granddaughter and the gazebo is built and screwed into the deck while part of the old swing set has been dismantled. Our labor is done and there's plenty of time to work the card. It's going to be hot and humid this afternoon and the morning Fast/Good designations have a chance to go to Fast/Firm. John and I have plans to run a cable out to the deck and soon be able to catch the races on a big screen with action going in via encrypted WiFi. All we need to do is install a ceiling fan on the gazebo and hook up the mosquito netting for the long hot summer that's coming. Cocktails on the veranda is going to change to guzzling in the gazebo. |
