SMARTER has ascending figs through two turf starts for Tom Bush. First-time gelding stretches out here from a sweet inside post fresh off some fine turf works at Payson.

Bill Mott's PIAZZA DEL CAMPO comes off the freshening after having been beaten three straight as the fave. Dicey chalk perhaps but when you consider the competition you realize he fits well with these.

Firster Lump DOUBLE RAINBOW will be starting from E.95th Street in outer Canarsie but this son of GHOSTZAPPER has been working up a storm since January and debuts for a good firster outfit.

With all that said, MADEYOURPOINT owns some rollicking turf figs from last year and could be worth a flier in a race that's crying out for a "Bomber".

Nobody pays the P6 while my DDs go with 3/8/10/12. Two of these creatures would actually get me out for the day and that's all a horse player can ask for but I'm OK with the beating.

Just a chalk over the paydays for an exacta.

Ex: 5-11/10-12

I stunk this card up well and it saddens me that I spent so much time working it while safe, sane and sober while dry and comfortable and not under small arms fire.
