From Tuesday it looks like nice warm weather for both Baltimore and New York. NYRA will jump on the bandwagon with 12 more races highlighted by a make-believe turf stakes for fillies called the Soaring Softly. When you jam up "big days" with an overload of graded stakes you have nothing but garbage for what should have been a great day of racing with a meaningful stakes. And looking ahead, with no Met Mile on Memorial Day, we get a Slow Bred Showcase Day. |
