It's second over for VEIL DANCE - SCRATCH - who fired nicely last fall over a wet course at this distance. JV stays for Donk.

It's a cutback off the layoff for KITTY MADDNES - SCRATCH - but she's been working nicely and could be kicking well late. I especially like that Maragh takes the mount for Morrison.

The Lump NILE PRINCESS - SCRATCH - went form 12th to 5th off the bench last out. Might be worth a cover to find out if this mare can handle the bog today when she figures to be tighter.

Good race for diddling.

Good race for flashing a middle digit at NYRA who kept this race "on the turf" until almost 11:30.

I saw the weather but 'capped for turf since both courses had the rails moved out to Canarsie. NYRA posted the first round of changes on the website and showed NO races coming off the turf.

It's not going to get to 60 degrees today and the house cats are buried in blankets upon warm beds today. Al Gore is burning many gallons of oil to stay warm today.

The #8 Lump SISELLA could land a payday P3 for me while the Five/Seven/Eight are going for Leg 2 of another.

The Five/Eight could finish off a DD.

The payday P3 goes second for me but the Chalk/Lump exacta comes back $31.00 and the 2X2 DD ticket paid $13.60.

A P3 kicked off for me with the chalk as a single but two other P3 tix got Leg 2.

Playing this card is like playing good defense with a rifle platoon with not much damage being done by either side.
