The Lump PUPAREE cuts back turf from a race in which she was with a 1:09 split. She has won over some turf that was not firm. Worth a flier. It's third over for FIRE KEY who fired a lifetime fig last out when second VS similar. Likely fave but she's zip for 8 with this SNW1X company. LAURA'S PATIOT cuts back off a lifetime fig and she's third over and 4 for 8 in the $$$ at the distance but she's won only once in 26 starts. LEM ME DANCE and LADY JOAN are layoff runners that have me befuddled. |

Only the #2 FIRE KEY can keep my P5 ticket moving but the deuce/six/eight are Leg 2 of a P3. I'm thinking the slop and state-breds kick my ass today but I'm game for some diddling. Yeah it's brightening up and the TV weather wankers tell us that Long Island could see some afternoon sunshine. |

I thought that 7/5 was horrible for FIRE KEY after being zip for 8 with this company but Jeez, when the NY chalkies are on something they plow it hard. The horse was only a dime short of 3/2 though. |
