The cutback and the rider change to Irad is looking good for THREE EIGHTY EIGHT. Never out of the $$$ in three tries at a mile but not a winner either. Just one for eleven but could be the value horse off the lifetime fig.

Chad's SUNSET RIDGE was a maiden sprint winner as the chalk on 4/29. Been working bullets up at the Spa and will be asked to stretch out today. The willpay for the Ortizacta here should be interesting.

The Three/Four can carry on the P5 but only Chad's #4 SUNSET RIDGE can land my puny DD and get the P3 by Leg 2.

The game has changed. Chad's gal is a stretchout filly and meeting older winners for the first time in the spring. That scenario used to raise a huge red flag to a handicapper but Chad's SUNSET RIDGE opened at evens.

I get the losing $7.90 DD on a 4X1 ticket while P5 and two different P3s are moving.

But I'm going to lose some house money if the chalk keeps rolling.
