WON'T BURN steps up second over but cuts back off the top fig. In a weak field I'm OK with backing a debut runner from a good firster barn. Ryerson's SPRING EMPEROR fits the bill. After going zip for ten with specials BASIC HERO, a son of CITY ZIP, gets a new trainer and drops in for a tag. I'm a big fan of the sire but this is his third year racing and he's a beaten fave only once. Three for four in the $$$ at Big Sandy though and today the freefall drop could finally get this one home. But at what value? |

Only the #2 ZIP runner can get my P5 by Leg 4 as a single and he could catch me a DD along with the #7 SPRING EMPEROR. Another ticket has the #6 WON'T BURN landing an OK P3 as a single. |

My 2X2 DD gets home for $6.90 and now I suppose I can start thinking about going to the Disco tonight in a limo with some hot babes. Leg 4 of my P5 got home as a single though and now I have two strange horses going into Leg 5 to finish off the wager. |
