Chad's PENJADE is perfect for 2017 after the long layoff. Off a lifetime fig upstate and seems set to score again in a short field. The Lump ENCHANTERESSE didn't like the bog last out but she likes the distance and today catches the rail and a real turf rider for a trip. I don't see great value in a field of five but I'll be using her somewhere. |

I'm OK with the result and the pace was slow but 1:44.30 has me scratching my head for these. Hey, like Eddie Arcaro once said, "They don't pay you to get there fast, they pay you to get there first." |
