THE GREAT SAMURAI ain't never been off the board over a fast strip and broke the maiden at Belmont the last time he was on one. Changes surfaces today and drops to a new low. MISTER HAYES cuts back to the maiden breaking distance two back. Been plodding OK on the cheap and has his chances enhanced today with the rider change to Ortiz. The Lump THE POOCH hits the bottom and steps out with speed. Three for six in the exacta lifetime and a son of CITY ZIP. Gonna catch a couple of diddle dollars from me some which way. |

The Heinz 57 Varieties could grab Leg 2 of a P3 off a nice single but the 5/6/8 will be galloping for some OK DDs. |

Leg 2 of my P3 got home and so did the $39.40 DD on the 2X2 ticket. More DDs take off and so does another P3 as the chalkies get one. Stabile and Andy gave that one out on Talking Horses and I tip my cap - $5.70 was a solid number from Ortiz chalk. |
