TOUGH OLD BIRD goes third over, cuts back and gets the blinks. Went third with open specials earlier this year. THIS BIRD CAN SING gets back to the proper surface and seems set to get better today. Looks like I'll be holding my bird for this one. FANCY GEM goes first time for Rudy Rod with a drop. Off 56 days. Scope the tote. |

I saw this as a grabass race and only the #2 FANCY GEM can get me another P3 while the 11/15 will be racing for my third DD. And yeah, I'm in with the BIRDzacta Box: 1/11 And yeah, I'll have a beer in one hand and my bird in the other at post time. The chalk #1 THIS BIRD CAN SING will be the only thing for Leg 2 on a P3 ticket. |

FANCY GEM caught zero Rudy Rod barn cash and that's when I knew this race was one for Hatpin Mary. I let go of my bird and now my socks are wet but hey, I get into the 5th race with the account up. Tough game is this they tell me. |
