I saw lots of angles to consider in this one. EARLY 12:30 Post.

The Fig Fellows might like VALDOCCO but in his last two races in the same company he went from evens to 33/1. I ain't never seen that and I've been around a track or two in my day.

BATTLE READY has hit the board in both dirt starts. Cuts back to 7 panels today.

The Lump QUAI VOLTAIRE went very well at a mile when last competing in this company.

Chad's got Castellano up on his firster WHY GOD. Gonna get bet but can he run?

And Barclay has RIVER DEEP who drops off a lifetime fig upstate. JV up caught my eye.

I was scratching my head and something else over this race and by the look of the tote with 18 MTP so is everybody else. I did work some doubles though.

Overcast and just 62 degrees for first post.

DD: 4-7/2-6

DD: 2-4-5-6-7/6

I'm kicking myself in the ass for not having BATTLE READY in my P3 but at least a couple of DDs take off with an OK number while the zacta goes 2nd & 3rd.

Good handicapping is nice but if you blow the ticket building you're better off with your arm around Hatpin Mary while she works with her eyes closed.
