Chad's ROAD TO MEATH went well in the quick debut dash and figures to just get better by stepping out to a route. Ortiz stays and that's a confidence boost for the chalkies.

ROAMING UNION tried to break the maiden in a minor stakes last out and after a troubled start got by some runners to finish 4th of ten. OK fig progression and maybe a shot for an upset here. Scope the tote.

Barclay's Lump firster VERVE'S HUMOR is nicely bred for this. Been working long and well and finished the work tabs with a bullet speed breeze two days ago. In good hands with Franco. Tagg never sends out a runner that isn't ready to compete.

The rain is disturbing my train of strange handicapping thoughts. Things are becoming very wet at Belmont Park.

Good and sealed is the main track now.

Unsnap The Overalls Margaret DD: 1-4-7/1

P3: 1-3-4-7/3/8

23 and 48 splits and the race was over.

They're running on sealed mud no matter what NYRA posts and now the rest of the dirt races are a crapshoot.
