Three MTO scratches will shorten up this field.

TIZZELLE catches three inside scratches and catches class relief third over. She 3 for 4 in the exacta at the distance with a win and gets Irad for a pilot today. No excuses for losing today. Well, maybe a couple.

Nothing but rising figs for La MONEDA who is looking for her third win in a row. The sire FREUD is an old friend and actually stands stud in New York. Add in Maggie and Tom Morley and you could actually be cheering for this horse late. I'm covering, especially with Castellano up. Beat SNW1X company with ease last out.

Want a sneaky? BONITA SPRINGS got by this condition 4 races back at this distance and gets to do it again by coming in here with a tag. Since that win she's been matching that winning fig with much better competition and could very well outrun her odds today if they're anywhere near that ridiculous 15/1 morning line.

The #6 TIZZELLE could land a P3 for me and move one on as the second single on the ticket while the #4 Lump PAZ THE BOURBON is my DD finisher.

La Moneda just crushed my day by outfinishing Broken Border and killing my exacta and tri bets. A good ride by Garcia on the turf and I'm still tearing tickets. ugh

The 1X3X1 P3 ticket comes back $18.20 for me while the exacta is good for $10.20.

A P3, and two exactas after 4 races is not putting any great thrills into my old drawers but a P3 ticket is by two singles into a spread and a cold DD is moving into the second leg.

I may not be having a great day like Matt Lauer is but I'm working at it.
