Lots of gaps in the run lines for Chad's GIFT BOX but he's graded-stakes placed, is entered here with no tag and is well-spotted at a mile. I figure that OG's boy has him ready to run and Castellano stays aboard.

It's third off the bench after a long layoff for the Lump EXTINCT CHARM. He's a state-bred stakes winner, a graded stakes $$$ finisher, has ascending figs, won his last race at the Finger and could be set to outrun his odds today. One for one at a mile.

When the "Bomb of the Day" pays 4/1 after 6 races I am not usually making any money and it's holding true today but some collections have me set for the last three races with most of the budget intact.

DD: 6-7/5-7

P3: 6-7/5-7/3

P3: 7-8/5/1-4

ExBx: 6/7-8

I was thinking that ALEX THE TERROR wouldn't get a mile but Pletcher claimed him and stretched him out. That barn doesn't claim many and I figured he'd be worth a cover.

He beat the fave but no number again. That $7.50 runner was the second best "Bomb of the Day".
