HONOR MISSION went ten furlongs in the debut on turf. Fired a bullet, changes surfaces, cuts back and gets druggd.

Second over for HONOR UP who didn't quite beat the 1:40 Slow Bred Barrier for a mile last out but whose figs tower over everybody who has run. Chalk has been going well lately.

Second over for IRON JOHNNY who also makes the dirt debut.

And the two Lumps are firsters. IMAGINAR has been working well at Pimlico and comes from low key connections that get some run from their firsters.

This could be a "one and done" day or a great test for the new winterized main track.

Boxing 2-8 here. Feeling like 8 might like the surface switch with a little moisture

Well all my horror zontals take off at 1/5.

40 of the 50 grand in the show pool was on the chalk - crazy action in bad weather in a field of seven. I get my nickels from empty beer cans.

Glad to see the Vulch aboard today.

Compared to the "good" sloopy mess at Gulfstream...the Big A track is "akin to a light April shower"

Gulfstream Race 2 $1300 exacta :o DQ's in the mud...
