The Lump GOING STRONG likes it wet and likes a mile (6/2/1/0). Well-spotted here first off the claim by Persaud. In here off a bullet work tab.

HEMBREE makes the Big A dirt debut with some OK turf figs. Handled Churchill slop back in June.

Look for Paco to sit a trip with MR. DOUGIE FRESH - SCRATCH - if he doesn't send him early. In with a chance.

1st post delayed until 1 pm, I guess they're waiting for fog to lift

It's a balmy 56 degrees at noon and with a scrillion tons of melting snow and rain and sitting just off Jamaica Bay Aqueduct is fogged in. First race at 1 p.m. maybe.

I'm no TV weather wanker but I do not have a clue as to what is going to make the fog lift.

Well that's good I suppose or the horses would be wearing headlights for the nightcap.

Sealed mud to start.

HEMBREE got plowed down to 2/5 late and wired them while holding the inside pillar to post and the rail through the lane.

I'm guessing it was hand-timed in 1:40.26 as no splits were posted during the race.
