Advantage to MIDNIGHT DISGUISE with the rail going 9 furlongs at the Big A. HAIL might be the real deal after that last-out maiden breaker but she will be tested today. The Lump TAKE CHARGE TINA was an easy two-turn maiden breaker at Philly last out. Working OK and catches Carmouche again. Interesting. |

Race 2 put some moisture into my Depends but the day is young and the bankroll is still healthy. Three-year-old fillies are awfully difficult to handicap in January. P3: 1-5/6/7-8 DD: 2-3/4-5 ExBx: 4/1-5 |

Well, that was 2/3rds of a P3 that is now confetti but another one takes off with the fave gone. 9 furlongs at Aqueduct and the two inside posts go One/Two. Some things just seem to make sense in the chaos of playing the ponies. McCarthy gets a stakes winner and I like that. |
