I'm no Pletcher fan but I'm liking the recent form and the cutback for VULCAN'S FORGE.
Kiaran's TAKAFUL can come off the bench running and comes in here off a bullet work tab. Zip for 1 at the distance but that was a second with a huge fig in a Spa Grade 1. Might sail here.
The old Lump GREEN GATTO won this race last year and I'm a fan. The old guy won the Carter at 54/1 and with temps getting by 50 today the old guy just might be feeling good and outrun his odds today.

VULCAN'S FORGE got the right pace but fell a bit short.
