FOREVER RISING got third off a freshening with open twenties last out. Might be in a class drop with state-bred forties here. Gets the rail and Rocco and never off the board in 3 starts at a mile.

Chad's MY GIRL ANNIE has been racing for 15 months and is still a maiden and isn't in Florida. Beaten fave in four of her last five races. The upside is that she appears for a tag first time in this race and doesn't have much to beat. Dicey chalk at cents to the dollar but everybody loves a winner and she doesn't meet any monsters here.

Rain is due this afternoon and is expected to last through Sunday. Mild temperatures are here for February but two to three inches of rain are in the weekend forecast.

It may be 44 MTP as I write this but the show pool is getting fat on the 1/9 ANNIE.
