The Lump PADRINONEVERQUITS vastly improved when sent to Tampa for the second start. Back at GP today with not the best field you'll ever see. The Romans firster FAST GIRL wont have to be very fast to beat these. The works are encouraging but backing chalk at 7 panels in a debut is not something I like. It's third over for VITAEMI who figures to be the speed here. Backed up last out after 5 furlongs with specials but this is a big drop to get back in for a tag. Not thrilled with the rider - I may diddle if some value shows up. I wish Hatpin Mary was here. |

The Deuce/Five could get me a 4th DD but I'm not catching any numbers. Nevertheless, I'm OK with not getting my prong kicked stiff after five races. |

A third Lump goes second but at least I kick off a P3. No way I could make that VITAEMI thing 8/5 but he did beat the fave with a rider who is now 1 for 31 at the meet. |
