Just some thoughts as I wait for the lates.
Contessa's NOT NOW -SCRATCH - came back running off the layoff and stays with $12.5 company with Alvarado up. The post isn't a thriller but she beat better at a mile and 70 out of post 9 on the inner earlier this year. Two for two on the wet.
TEASE is 5/5/4 from 20 starts at a mile and 70 yards and has been facing better lately. Draws nicely to save some ground for the late kick and catches the 'turf to dirt angle'.
COMET ROAD is cross-entered into a race at Deli Park today but fits well with these on the drop if she's in. Likes it wet and drops for sharp connections. Thirteen for 22 in the $$$ at Philly - 'horse for the course' and the only gal in the race with as many as 8 victories.
EMMA'S VALENTINE - SCRATCH - heads an OK entry after three straight OK tries with allowance company. Her game is sprinting but she is 1 for 2 at today's distance and could be worth a play with a number but as the morning-live fave that's not likely to happen.
This one is wide-open and should be fun to watch.

1/8 Pole just phoned. He's not at Potter's Pub - he's at the bar at the Ground Round next to the Levittown OTB and needs the #1 KILLARNY TOWNSHIP to finish the P3 as a single. I'm rooting for him but I thought the stronger half of the entry was scratched.
I have TEASE and COMET ROAD as the contenders here.

Throw out the last race on the lawn for Slow Bred KAT'S MYSTERY. This horse is live with these at an OK number.
Ex: 6/1-2-5
P3 Poopy Droopy: 2/1/7
P3: 2-5/1-9/2-7

1/8 Pole had the P3 in mid-stretch. I had the mini-payday zacta inside the sixteenth.
And then TEASE blows by them all from last to first.
Happily, all the P3s take off but this day is weird so far.
I dated a tease in high school but nobody now alive needs to know what can happen in the back seat of a 1957 Buick Super.
