This looked like a 2-horse race at first glance but upon further review things get more interesting.

THE TRUFFLE MAN may have needed that first race off the layup. This guy had been going very well with open allowance runners earlier in the year.

Tagg's guy, GROOMEDFORVICTORY, comes back to the dirt. This horse is a state-bred stakes winner at today's distance and beat much better open company at Golfscream earlier this spring.

Contessa's WICKED CLIMB ain't never run this cheap, comes in here off a best of 77 bullet breeze, and is two for four lifetime. If you can deal with the 222-day layoff, then this is your pony.

ZIPTRONIC handled SNW1X company by open lengths in 1:10 flat back in April and figures to be firing again under Cornholio from the rail.

The only thing 1/8 Pole and I can agree on is that we have enough beer to get through the card.

DD: 2/3-5

DD: 2-4/1

Save Job: ZIPTRONIC cheaply over them all in zactas.

My granddaughter does not believe that Large Lungs Lois is my kid sister and 1/8 Pole's aunt.

The edge goes to the Truffle Man, Groomedforvictory is a moneyburner

Good call, BL.

$7.60 truffles are a good deal.

I once saw a show about Italian truffles. They train pigs to sniff them out in the forest.

I can't post anything about what gets sniffed at the downstairs saloon.

At least the day starts off with a winner and a giggle.
