First-time tag, change of surface, 3 work tabs, blinks and a rider change to Franco go for PONY SOPRANO in his second start.
The Ol' Ten Tap DR. LEVY shows up at 1/1 on the ML. Drops from specials. Loses his balls but gains some drugs. Carmouche up for Pletcher. Looks like a fire sale.
Third over for ILLUSTRIOUS who got third last out at a mile. The winner got home in under 1:40 which was encouraging. The sire is GHOSTZAPPER. Gotta wake up sometime.

The P3 will be galloping to finish with 6/9/10. The $70 budget for the day isn't busted yet so I'm willing to stroke my scuppers with a wild-ass saver before I go feed a bunch of hungry cats.
Ex: 3-5/3-5-6-9-10

KAFUKKINBLAM!!!!!
The 2X1X2 P3 comes back $434.50 with the $66 winner.
The winner is a grandson of CITY ZIP and he caught the fling for that Big A one-turn "long dirt sprint".

Thanks. Rough day with the stakes-time speed in the early races.
Long ago in the 1960s my father and some other older guys along the rail at Aqueduct would tell me that that the one-turn miles at Aqueduct and Belmont could be 'capped as "long sprints".
The $66 winner of the nightcap caught a tumble as a grandson of champ sprinter CITY ZIP.
