Opening Day was a tough card but Andy gave out five winners on Talking Horses.

Catching five of ten was an accomplishment worthy of note - $13.20, $19.40, $5.30, $4.40 and $6.60.

Just prior to the Covid pandemic ..I visited my sis in the Tampa area...tired of shoveling snow...bought a condo! Close to your wife's friend in Clearwater or St Pete. Except for one sis/family...all family still in westc. I was a "snow bird" until Covid.

FL is not NY...but the pandemic had thousands of "Northerners" flee the area....traffic here makes it feel like NY!

I prefer not to embarrass myself with my picks on any day, but as we all know, that's not even remotely possible. However, Saratoga is at an even higher level, and I figure any day here that I don't completely suck is a good day:-) I seem to have managed to escape opening weekend fairly unscathed....but there are still 36 possible debacles ahead of me:-)
