Looking for an upset here. WEST STAR shows ascending figs for last 3 races, all at a mile (0/1/2) and cuts back. Flashed speed in latest and may be overlooked here.
PREDICTED went well two back with specials at 7f. May be well-spotted here at the $40K level.

Only the #2 WEST STAR can land the payday P3 and he opened at 7/2. On another ticket, the #6 PREDICTED represents leg 2 of a different P3.

This morning while gumming my oatmeal I promised myself a 2/6 box for the horses I liked and for my old 2nd Battalion/6th Marines home away from home long ago. So for openers:

The 7/1 WEST STAR outran his odds but the post parade scratch and small field gummed up the exacta that landed for $9.40. A P3 moves by leg 2 with the chalk winner.
