Leg two of my cheap ticket, and another single ina busted race off the turf. Another single, I am playing Quonata.. A few angles here....first and obvious is the MTO angle. Then Ribaudo doing well off Maiden Win last out. Not an impressive field, but 1:11 over the slop after a poor start, I'll take a shot.

Years ago I was laying voice and data cable at Grumman on Long Island. We got off early one day and the crew went to the Charles Avenue Cafe for cocktails, whiskey, and beer. The Hicksville OTB was down the block and we caught the late races at Belmont. Our foreman Ed did not drink so he had some cokes and 7-ups at the bar. I drove Ed home after dark and wife came galloping out of the house to learn we had been out at a bar. Ed was sober as a judge. The man would get sick if he sniffed alcohol and was a real fine good man and dear friend.

Wifey screamed at me, "I lost my first husband to alcohol you Irish ****sucker and if you ever take Ed near a bar again I'll cut your balls off with a rusty razor! You %^&*ing +*$#bag!!"

That lady was forever known as ED'S PRINCESS.

True story.

I had inadvertently posted a P3 play on the race 4 thread that 1/8 Pole had fired into the account from wherever he is today. I deleted it and present it here:

P3: 7-10-13/2-10/6

Chalk looks tough. Ed's Princess looks good on my figs. Quonata is really the only horse in here though who has any shot to improve off last.

Ex 7-13/7-12-13

Double 7-13/5

With a million inside scratches and the late kick, Flag's QUONATA looks like the horse to beat. This pony chugged a solid 1:11+ in the maiden race and appears best. But it's a busted turf race and a weepy claimer.

P3: 13/10/4-5

MTO P3: 12-13/4-10/4

ED'S PRINCESS Over for the Zacta Flyer: 7/10-12-13

All kinds of P3s take off but at 3 to 5 I'm not going outside in a thong again.

Is this the type of race where you are suppose to be smart enough to bet 500 to win?
